Reporting to the Registered Provider your key responsibilities will be.

  • To provide leadership to the administration, care staff and people management functions of Peak Home Assist Ltd
  • To carry out, and provide leadership in marketing the service and selling its services at the agreed prices.
  • To maintain the operations of Peak Home Assist Ltd at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider, within the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider.

  • Ensure Service Users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
  • The efficient and effective day-to-day management of the human resources involved in providing care through the staff team and ensuring that the required standards are maintained.
  • Ensuring all recording systems and organisational documentation are of a high standard and kept up to date.
  • To ensure all Peak Home Assist Ltd staff receive formal supervision and appraisals.
  • Oversee the daily rota weekly in advance ensuring the correct skills mix and numbers on duty.

  • To organise and coordinate care delivery in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager and within the financial plans.
  • Ensure that the care service is delivered to Service Users at the times and for the duration specified in the relevant individual agreement(s) and contract standards.
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.

  • Monitor staff annual leave and sickness

  • To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain practices as up to date.
  • Induct and orientate new employees to the job role and service.
  • Organise and plan supervision and appraisals for care staff.
  • Provide and oversee staff providing people with support/assistance as they accomplish daily tasks.

You will be supporting our Health Care Assistants covering Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
